Bravecto® Topical for Dogs

A fast-acting flea and tick protection in an easy-to-administer topical solution for dogs.Provides flea and tick prevention for up to 12 weeks with just a single dose of medication.

Bravecto Topical Solution for Dogs kills adult fleas and is indicated for the treatment and prevention of flea infestations (Ctenocephalides felis) and the treatment and control of tick infestations [Ixodes scapularis (black-legged tick), Dermacentor variabilis (American dog tick), and Rhipicephalus sanguineus (brown dog tick)] for 12 weeks in dogs and puppies 6 months of age and older, and weighing 4.4 pounds or greater.

Bravecto Topical Solution for Dogs is approved for pregnant, breeding, and lactating dogs. Bravecto (fluralaner) is also approved for use in dogs 6 months of age or older who weigh at least 4.4 pounds.

How to give BRAVECTO to dogs:

A single dose of BRAVECTO Topical Solution for Dogs should be given by parting the dog's hair and applying the product directly to the skin between the shoulder blades.

Prescribe Different Weight Bands Of Bravecto Depending On Pet’s Weight

One application per weight band

Dogs over 123.0 lb. should be administered the appropriate combination of tubes.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION:

BRAVECTO has not been shown to be effective for 12-weeks' duration in puppies or kittens less than 6 months of age. Fluralaner is a member of the isoxazoline class. This class has been associated with neurologic adverse reactions including tremors, ataxia, and seizures. 

The most commonly reported adverse reactions include vomiting, hair loss, diarrhea, lethargy, decreased appetite, and moist dermatitis/rash. Bravecto is not effective against lone star ticks beyond 8 weeks of dosing. For topical use only. Avoid oral ingestion. Seizures have been reported in dogs receiving isoxoline class drugs, even in dogs without a history of seizures.

Use caution in dogs with a history of seizures or neurologic disorders.
